Scar... Well, Cut and Bite Make Up

Our scar make up artist has been messing around with his latex and other stuff and here is one of his trial runs for the bite's that all zombies are going to have (how else is the infection going to spread!?), and the gash that a few will be honored with.

It looks pretty good! He's going to be blending the edges a bit more, as at the moment you can still see the latex, and we will have rotting zombie flesh in no time! 

The Creation of the Death Note and Chemical "X"

The Death Note 

Here are some images from when I was making the Death Note. it is now ready for use and if you touch it you might even see a Shinigami! I haven't seen one yet, but maybe they're still in the Shinigami realm.

Chemical "X"

This is the design for the Chemical "X" sticker. It has a "Z" hidden in it so that a small group of government scientists that are working on the top secret project will be able to recognise the chemical as chemical "Z" for zombies, but others that aren't in the secret circle will just believe it is chemical "X", what they are being told is the new trial run for a cure of some form of cancer.

Some Dilemmas

We have found out that Hannah and Millie won't be able to come along to the filming days, which is fine because we were prepared for that already. Unfortunately we have lost our Nerd, Courtney, who was the "Star Wars Fangirl" which put us in a bit of a pickle, but Shae and I have decided that I will take Courtney's place, which will be fine. Quite a few of our zombies haven't confirmed that they are coming, which is quite annoying, so we will just have to work with whoever is there on the day.
Shae and I are currently dealing with the creation of the shot list for the first scene that takes place before the music begins, and we should be done soon. We are still waiting for Millie's shot list, but she has had a camp on for the past week and hasn't been able to send it yet.
Other than that, we are ready!

Shot List (The "Epic" fight scene)

Here is my completed shot list for the fight scene between the Nerds and the Zombies in the times 1:48 - 2:42. Yes, I do realise that it goes 1 second over if you add the time together, but that is because i added an FX bit in shot 20. This shot will most likely take less than 1 second, but I couldn't put it in the last shot, and it needed a time next to it.

So far we are almost ready to film.
The set location has been figured out, we will be swapping between Shae and her cousins house for filming. Shae and I went and bought the last things that we needed for filming a couple days ago, so we just need to make sure that the other things are brought in by the extras.
We have decided that our head make up artists are Matt and Peta, as Matt can do scar make up and Peta wanted to do the zombie make up, so on the day, they are coming early to do Hannah and I's make up, to show us what they are doing so that we can help out and get through everyone faster.
We currently have approximately 20 zombies, which is useful incase people can't come on the day.
Our nerds are set, but Peta is no longer able to make her sword, so we will either have to find her a new weapon or go out and buy one. The Death Note has been created, so we now only need one more weapon.
We are all quite excited for this, and hopefully it will go smoothly.

Zombies (you know that you've been waiting for this)

Here are some designs for zombie make up that we may be able to tweak and use for our music video.

Costume designs so far

These are the general costume designs for the nerds and locations of the bites for the zombies. The cast can choose which costume they would prefer to wear, but I don't think Matt will go for the skirt. Also the design for the zombies makeup is currently being tweaked as the one on here was just a rough idea for where their bites will be and the Light costume is supposed to have a tie... I just accidentally rubbed it out. The I can't get the femme version of Luke to look nerdy enough (hence why she currently looks like a cheerleader), so that needs to be tweaked as well.
